The target was ripped upon opening the box. I contacted Franklin, and never heard back from them. The target does not stay up well, and my 15 year old son won't use it any more. It was a complete waste of money, and the company was no help.
Okay......but not the sturdiest... May 27, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
We purchased this for our son (9). It popped open right away...so be careful you don't take an eye out when opening it. First off, the picture Amazon has of this item is different then what you actually get. Ours was more red/blue/white/black with a real life picture of some guy for the batter. We took it to the field for some pitching practice and it was slightly windy. It kept blowing over...even when we staked it down it kept wobbling and the top side kept blowing in. Now don't even get me started on folding it back again!!!! NOT EASY!!! I eventually got it but not before the stress level reached about a "10". I guess folding it back down takes some practice and PATIENCE!! Overall it's okay.....but not really worth the $74.....I think it's probably more worth about $40.
