The achellis heel of any bottle not designed for insulation is the temperature eventually changes. This pouch is the natural choice to draw out the optimum temperature as long as possible. Even on a hot day, my drinks remained cool for more than long enough to finish it. The only issue I can report is my pouch came out a good inch too tall, so it cinched closed over the bottle's top instead of around the bottle neck. No biggie.
