Nice and comfy September 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my first pair of sandals from Columbia and they are great. All the straps have padding so they don't rub against your skin causing blisters. The sole is soft and supportive. I could wear these shoes all day.
Best practical women's sandals July 9, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought a pair of Columbia sandals similar to these in a discount store three years ago, and adored them. I wore them for three summers straight, every day, doing outdoor farm work, hiking, even in salt water (I'm extremely hard on shoes). After three years they finally gave up the ghost. I knew I had to have another pair of Columbia's.
I found these and they looked the same so I order them. They're wonderful. They fit my foot very snugly and are flexible and rugged enough for walking and hiking, as well as being stylish enough to wear in public. It is very difficult to find pratical women's sandals that aren't outrageously expensive - I have often had to purchase men's from a local store to get the price and utility I needed, but they looked and felt clunky and masculine.
I would highly recommend these to any lady who needs something other than a fancy heeled sandal or a flip flop. You can hike, kyack, or chase your kids all day in these. If it weren't for the fact I now work in and office I'd never take them off (and I sometimes sneak them in on Fridays!). I bought the tan and pink color, and am very pleased with how they look. I've had them for three+ months and no signs of wear yet. I even take them to the gym sometimes.
One note, the sizes run small so if you are a half size, go up and not down. This wasn't a problem for me, because I like a tight fit.

I searched high and low for this sandal in the fossil color before locating them through Amazon. I would have given them a 5 star rating if I could have purchased them in a half size, but I have to say even buying the next size larger, they fit okay. Haven't walked any distance in them, but they are a comfortable wear around the house.
