  Not bad...a different look September 29, 2008
I had originally ordered the women's Zong but the straps were too narrow and very slippery (they didn't keep their size well), so I returned them and ordered the men's and I like them so much better. These straps are much closer to the regular women's straps for the traditional styles, only problem is the men's straps don't have as wide of a variety of colors/patterns to choose from. Sometimes wearing the Zongs give my shin muscles a real workout but other than that, I love these shoes and they are a bit dressier than the traditional styles that I wear.

i have been on a mission to find the perfect festival shoe and this is it. in fact, it's become the perfect everything shoe. it's comfortable, supportive, rugged, cute. it took about two weeks of wear to get the straps just right to where they didn't strain or hurt my foot and they can be easily slid on and off. (a tip about getting them to fit correctly: loosen the straps all the way out before putting your foot in. then tighten them up while still leaving them loose enough to slip on and off. the strap closest to your ankle shouldn't even touch the top of your foot.) but now that they've adjusted to my foot, they're unbelieveably comfortable. perfect for walking long distances on pavement, through fields, gravel, rough terrain, grass. you can run in them, they're even great in rainy and muddy conditions. my next purchase will be toe socks so i can wear them in the winter. best shoes ever!

I am usually an 8 1/2 and size 9 fit just right. Make sure to size up and not down. The straps must have been made for thicker feet because I have to pull the buckle all the way to the end. Other than that, the quality is as great as one would expect from Chaco.

Purchased these sandals for my granddaughter in Hawaii, perfect fit and she loves the comfort. Would recommend this brand.
