Hayashi single weave unbleached Judo/Jujitsu uniform. Our Hayashi Judo/Jujitsu uniforms are made of the finest 100% natural unbleached cotton fabric. The top are designed with the traditional rice-grain weave on the top section and the diamond pattern on the bottom section. The pants have the standard draw string waist and quilted knees. Hayashi Judo/Jujitsu uniforms stands behind the heavy duty re-enforced stitching that take as much punishment as one can give. The lapel is wide and padded for a proper hold. To protect the lapel seams and the joining of the two fabrics- there is a durable seam cover. This will strengthen the main stress areas of the adjoining 100% cotton material. Another key feature is the extra fabric and stitched re-enforcement on the shoulders and the chest area. This will compensate the usual tugging and pulling from your opponent. What a wonderful product, it comes very large and shrinks a lot so people should take that into account when purchasing this item, I love it!

I was wondering what quality I'd get for the price. Even though it was less than a third of the price of other uniforms it appears to be excellent quality.

Excellent quality, good stong cloth, and understated color. The guys in my class commented on the high quality. I'm the only woman, so it's hard enough with my tiny judogi, but this makes me look a bit more formidable. It moves like armor at first and the lapels are very stiff, but it loosens up in the wash. It does shrink, thank heavens (looked like a happi coat on me at first). All in all, A-1 product.

Great product! My son is five foot ten and weighs 160 pounds and a size 4 fits him perfectly after washing. This Gi will last him a long time since it is so well made. Product was shipped quickly.

a well made gi for a beginner in brazilian jiu jitsu. the grips on the collar aren't huge so you don't have people having iron fists on you, but strong enough to withstand a good jerking.
be careful though, I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds and I got a size 4. It was huge on me to begin with, but once I washed and machine dried it, it shrunk down to size.
the cuff of the pants sits on my ankles and the sleeves are about an inch short of my wrist.
