You are no a fencer with some experience and you do a lunge in nylon kickers with suspenders. You don't feel them. They are form-fitting and giving. You feel the lunge. You've come to feel the drag of the occasional catch of the cotton knickers and are aware that in epee or foil the trailing folds of the fabric can become target. Freed from the distraction of clothing, the mind becomes more focused and the body is channeled by the nylon into a wonderful feeling of sleekness.
