As a performer, she starred in the Broadway Show "Swing" and was featured in the film "Dance with Me." Maria choreographed the off-Broadway shows "The Donkey Show," "4 Guys named Jose," "Latin Heat" and "Best of Both Worlds." Other projects include:NBC Radio City Gala, Jay Leno with Lou BEGA, HBO, Burger King, Enrique Iglesias "Bailamos" video, DLG "No Morira" and John Leguizamo in "Sueno," that premiered at The Latino Film Festival. Maria has coached and taught all over the world at some of the most prestigious schools in the US including: Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey and Dance Theatre of Harlem.
