Product Description Bloch's "Signature Rehearsal" pointe shoe is everything a professional pointe shoe should be. It is designed to mold to the foot, break in easily and allow greater flexibility without wearing out too quickly. Now available in two shanks, Regular and Hard. Ribbons not included

Great shoes, but I agree with the other reviewer. July 25, 2005 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Buying pointe shoes on the internet should only be done if you know what brand's style and size are a good fit for your feet. A pointe shoe should be tried on first to guarantee it's the right make for the shape of your foot (length of toes, width of foot, flexibility of your arch) as well as your experience and the purpose of the shoe - performances or classes, they make shoes designed for both. The wrong shoe can ruin your feet - take it from me, I studied at a school where the teacher made us all buy the same shoe, the very narrow Capezio Pavlova with the DuroToe. I have feet like the ostriches on Fantasia - I needed a wide, boxy toe. I crammed my feet into these shoes, crippling my left foot to the point that I could no longer dance on it. These shoes are wonderful, I prefer Blochs in general and recommend them over other shoemakers. I just wanted to add my two cents - if you want to keep on dancing, make sure your shoes fit properly.

Even though it may seem cool to buy pointe shoes over the internet, I don't recommend it. ALL pointe shoes fit different. There are different hardnesses of shank, different widths, and lengths. Also depending on the model of shoe, and the brand the sizes vary. Some sizes go up from street shoe sizes, and some sizes go down from street shoe sizes. My capezio contempora pointe shoes go down size in size, while the capezio giselle goes up in size. I recommend going to a dance supply store in your area to find pointe shoes.
