The Pacific Outdoors 17-SZ8252PLB SubZero Snowshoe Combo Kit includes the 17-SZ825 SubZero Snowshoes; a pair of telescoping three-section aluminum snowshoe poles for extra balance and added power; and a convenient carry and storage pouch. The snowshoes feature an anodized T6 aluminum frame that is lightweight, attractive, and strong. The rear and toe decks are made of tough, durable Lytex, and sturdy Hypalon wraps all around. Toe-wrap bindings surround your feet to provide support and comfort while walking. For outstanding traction up and down hills, the snowshoes feature double-claw aluminum crampons. And to prevent toe-hooking and snow from flying up in your face, Pacific Outdoors designed these snowshoes with toe-rod pivots and spring-back bindings. The design features a tapered frame for better maneuverability, and a narrow tail to reduce the chance of cross-stepping. These snowshoes are built to support up to 275 pounds, and the adjustable heel strap fits nearly all boot and shoe sizes.

I am inexperienced using snow shoes. I searched "women's snow shoes" & these seemed the nicest for the price. When they arrived, I was very surprised that they were about 10" longer than my husband's snow shoes. I guess these longer snow shoes are for deeper snow. So, the product is fine, just not for snow that is not very deep.

I love snowshoeing. I do it on regular basis and own multiple pairs of snowshoes, including some more expensive products.
I bought these because I wanted to have a backup set for when guests come to our cabin. This is perfect. I love them.
I wouldn't use these to climb Denali, but are perfect for recreational use. And the price is right.

I was offered this item from my Gold Box and while I think the kit is well-made and well-thought out, I'm a little puzzled because I live in Southern California and there's no way in blazes that I would ever need these.
Some days the Gold Box is weird.
