Product Description
The Pacific Outdoors 17-SN1032 Optima Snowshoes feature an anodized T6 aluminum frame that is lightweight, attractive, and strong. The rear deck panel is made of tough, durable Hypalon, and the colorful PE toe-deck panel is long-lasting. Toe-wrap bindings surround your feet to provide support and comfort while walking. For outstanding traction up and down hills, the snowshoes feature double-claw aluminum crampons. And to prevent toe-hooking and snow from flying up in your face, Pacific Outdoors designed these snowshoes with toe-rod pivots and spring-back bindings. The design features a tapered frame for better maneuverability, and a narrow tail to reduce the chance of cross-stepping. These snowshoes are built to support up to 275 pounds.

These are AWESOME snow shoes. They are a little heavier than my husbands old pair...amazingly took a little more getting used to than he expected. But great pair of snow shoes....and they work well on packed down snow and ice...

I recently purchased the Pacific Outdoors Optima 10X32 shoeshoes. I love them ! I have the opportunity to use them everyday for casual recreation. They work equally well in powder and crusty snow. So smooth. Good for uphill and downhill climbing. The bindings are easy on and off. I wear neoprene 'muck' boots and they tighten really well around them. They don't loosen with walking. Nice crampon system. On occasion, the snow will build up in the crampons but comes off in about 3-4 steps. No complaints here. I also purchased a pair of adjustable Swiss Gear poles and appreciate the added balance they give.
