Second purchase from SD July 7, 2007
I wanted a katana just for display, but with some tang (as opposed to a rat-tail weld). As with my prior purchase from SD, the package arrived quickly. I had fun putting it together. The pieces fit well and the blade is decent for the price (a few small flaws but nothing major or too noticeable). Obviously it's not a Paul Chen by any stretch of the imagination, but overall it's a good deal - especially if you don't have $300 to spend on a "display" sword. If I'm going to get anything else in this line of product I'll probably get it from SD again.
