Product Description Fusion In-Mold Microshell with a larger design offers protection and durability for whatever the road or trail dishes out. 17 vents bring cool air in through the front, allowing it to pass over your head and then flushes warm air out of the rear ports " so YOU stay cool and your HEAD stays cool. Snap-In visor protects your eyes from the sun, rain and any other debris that might fly your way. ErgoDial fit system provides easy, one-handed adjustment and the Cam-Lock levers deliver a perfect fit.
Product Description The Bell Triton Fusion Sport Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet features Bell's ErgoDial fit system to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment with the press of a button and slide of the dial for a firm, snug and comfortable stability. The Triton also features a removable snap-in visor, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 17 vents that allow cool, fresh air in and warm air out. The Triton helmet comes in Bell's Universal Large size (58-65cm), weighs 330 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets. Helmet Tips--You Should Always... - Wear a helmet when you ride
- Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
- Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
- Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
- Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Wear a helmet designed for your activity

Great Helmet! July 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this is the second bell helmet that I have owned. my other one sat outside in the elements and became cracked as a result. this helmet is great, looks cool and best of all will protect me in the unlikely event of a fall. and I will not be leaving it outside to the elements.
first bike helmet that fit my HUGE mellon June 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Every other helmet I tried fit like a yamika. This helmet fits! If you have a hippo head like I do this is the bike helmet for you.
Finally! It's perfect! March 7, 2008 I have tried every large or extra-large helmet available for years. The Giro Atlas II, Garneau Robota, and Trek Interval XL are all advertised as extended size products. None of those helmets fit me. I also tried several high end Limar helmets that are widely recommended for larger heads, but they still didn't fit me. I wear a 7-3/4 or 8 hat (depends on the hat). Some of the extended size helmets had a large enough band, but still sat very high on my head because the shell was too small. It seems that I have a tall and big head.
The first time I slipped this helmet on it felt like a miracle. I have easily tried on 50 different helmets over the years and this is the first one that looked good and felt comfortable.
The styling is great. It looks like a road style helmet if you remove the snap-on visor. It breathes very well. The fit adjustment system is nicer than the one on my $120 Giro that gives me headaches from the tight band. After adjustment I have a little over 2" of strap left, so I think that Bell may have lengthened it since the earlier reviewer received his.
If you need an XL helmet, this is your model. Don't let the low price scare you away. It fits big heads, has top of the line features, and looks great as a mountain bike helmet or road bike helmet. I would have bought it at three times the price.
Didn't know there was a bike helmet this big out there December 28, 2007 I went to several local bike shops, took a month to look for a helmet that would fit. All hope was lost and I wanted to ride my new $1600 carbon bike really bad...but not without a helmet. Finally, finally, I have a helmet that not only fits, but looks pretty good too with different color patterns. The bell triton is a very good quality helmet (based on couple of crashes I took). It held up with no cracks. The only short fall was that the straps were a little bit short but not enough to make this helmet a good fit. I would recommend it to anyone.
Finally, a helmet that fits! December 24, 2007 I generally try to set a good example for my kids, and riding a bike is no different. However, until I found this helmet, it was somewhat painful due to my head being at the limit for the largest helmet I could find in the stores. This helmet is great, it adjusts to fit properly with one hand and is very comfortable to wear.
