5 out of 5 stars 2000+ Rounds, Still Plinking   June 11, 2008

Works better than other guns of higher price. Still firing strong after at least 2000 rounds through it. Very accurate, very fun.

1 out of 5 stars JUNK! JUNK! JUNK!   April 28, 2008

I purchased this rifle so that I could have an adult pellet rifle with high accuracy. After shooting 10 rounds through the rifle the o-ring lost two chunks of rubber. I e-mail customer service and they were nice enough to send me a new o-ring for free. After that I put the gun up for the winter. This past weekend I fired 50 more rounds through the rifle. After finishing I noticed that the rifle is now missing a big chunk below the 0-ring. After contacting customer service I was told that it will be fixed under warranty but I have to pay shipping BOTH WAYS! Give me a break, this rifle is a piece of junk and mine has a history of problems. I am sorely disappointed in this rifle. Should have bought one with an all steel barrel or one from a nother manufacturer.

1 out of 5 stars Unusable   April 8, 2008

The scope's front lens popped up and fell on the ground after some 2 dozen shots.

Other than that, it's a solid, nice air rifle but can't use it without a scope. I will now call Gamo's customer service. Depending on how they help me address this issue, this review will be edited and upgraded, possibly to five stars or it will stay as one-star and I will be sharing my experience with the rest of you, friendly Amazon shoppers.

Sadly, I will have to keep the one-star rating. Calling Gamo turned out to be a most frustrating experience. Some bored lady who came to the phone informed me that they had no intention of honoring their warranty, unless the product was purchased from one of their authorized resellers and... guess what? Amazon was not one of them. In between her placing me on hold, she gave me three different 'prices' for replacing their crappy scope. The cheapest alternative, when they decide that they would actually honor their warranty was $10 or maybe $19.99, not clear. But my impression was that they would do everything they could not to help a customer in need of assistance without first making them pay as much as possible.

Avoid buying Gamo products unless you don't expect them to break.

Very impressive gun, very accurate It only took me 20 shots to sight in.It also is fairly loud similar to a 22 caliber. My first day taking it out(after sighting in)I took a squirell at 25 yards...very powerful and accurate.
