When we lost our minds and purchased a skateboard for our newly four old son, we regained enough sense to also get him this set of knee and elbow pads. They have been fantastic! They have enough adjustment room to fit him and will absolutely grow with him (please note that he is stocky at 49 pounds ... I don't think they would fit a very small or thin four year old). They certainly have enough padding to keep him from scraping up his knees and elbows and have already prevented what could have been a couple of bad scrape ups. With these and a good helmet, your little one should be good to go on his skateboard!
