 A very nicely made kid's athletic sock August 22, 2008
These socks feel wonderfully comfortable (yes, I slipped one on the lower part of my foot to try it out), and the YL size fits my daughter's foot (shoe size 10 1/2) perfectly. The YL is advertised to fit Youth shoe sizes 10 through 2 (remember that youth shoe sizes restart after size 15--confusing, yes!). The YL size is also to fit women's sizes 3-5.
The sole of the sock is "fortified" with a more rugged-feeling material on the outside, and the sock parts are formed and sewn to fit the appropriately sized foot just right. They stay in place perfectly without riding down.
The sock is 80% cotton and 20% stretch nylon and made in the USA. It comes with a 100% comfort guarantee.
The sock is fairly thick (as one would expect for an athletic sock), so shoes will require a more generous fit than thinner socks.

I had trouble figuring out whether to get size YX (kids 1-5) or YM (Toddler 7-10) for a toddler with size 11 feet. I went with YX (kids size 1-5) and the socks were way too big. Wish they had offered something in between.
